This policy explains what the Amazon Product Scraper to Excel browser extension collects, why it collects it, and what you can do about it. It applies only to the extension and its backend service operated at peachimports.in.

Account details and scrape statistics are stored in a MySQL database on our hosting provider's servers. All communication between the extension and our server uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Your preferences and signed-in session are stored locally in your browser using the browser's own extension storage.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. The only third parties involved are:

Account records are kept for as long as your account is active. Scrape statistics are kept for up to 24 months. If you request deletion, your account record and all associated statistics are permanently removed.
The browser will ask you to approve several permissions when you install the extension. Each is used only for the purpose described:
tabs — to find which of your open tabs are Amazon pages that can be scrapedscripting — to read product data from an Amazon page when the faster method is unavailablestorage — to remember your settings and keep you signed innotifications — to tell you when a scrape has finishedidentity — to let you sign in with Googlealarms — to keep long scrapes running without being interrupted by the browseroffscreen — to build the Excel filedownloads — to save the Excel file to your computerThis extension is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Significant changes will also be noted in the extension's store listing.
