This policy explains what the Amazon Product Scraper to Excel browser extension collects, why it collects it, and what you can do about it. It applies only to the extension and its backend service operated at peachimports.in.

1. What we collect

Product data stays on your device. The Amazon product listings the extension extracts — titles, prices, ratings, review counts, ASINs, and image addresses — are processed entirely inside your browser and written directly to the Excel file you download. That data is never transmitted to our servers.

2. What we do not collect

Your browsing history, or any page you visit outside Amazon search and bestseller pages
Your Google password — sign-in is handled by Google, and we never see your credentials
Payment or financial information
The contents of the Excel files you generate
Your keystrokes, form entries, or clipboard contents

3. How your data is stored

Account details and scrape statistics are stored in a MySQL database on our hosting provider's servers. All communication between the extension and our server uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Your preferences and signed-in session are stored locally in your browser using the browser's own extension storage.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. The only third parties involved are:

Google — handles authentication when you choose to sign in. See the Google Privacy Policy.
Our hosting provider — stores the database on our behalf.

We may disclose information if legally required to do so by a valid legal process.

5. How long we keep it

Account records are kept for as long as your account is active. Scrape statistics are kept for up to 24 months. If you request deletion, your account record and all associated statistics are permanently removed.

6. Your choices

Sign out at any time using the Logout button in the extension. This clears your session from your browser.
Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Request deletion of your account and all associated records.
Uninstall the extension, which removes all locally stored settings. To also remove your server-side record, contact us using the details below.

7. Permissions the extension requests

The browser will ask you to approve several permissions when you install the extension. Each is used only for the purpose described:

tabs — to find which of your open tabs are Amazon pages that can be scraped
scripting — to read product data from an Amazon page when the faster method is unavailable
storage — to remember your settings and keep you signed in
notifications — to tell you when a scrape has finished
identity — to let you sign in with Google
alarms — to keep long scrapes running without being interrupted by the browser
offscreen — to build the Excel file
downloads — to save the Excel file to your computer
Access to amazon.com and amazon.in — to read the product pages you ask it to scrape
Access to other sites — requested only if you choose to use the optional inventory URL feature, and only for the specific sites you enter

8. Children

This extension is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Significant changes will also be noted in the extension's store listing.
